The Impact of COVID-19 for the Most Vulnerable in Your Community

At New Horizon Community Care our top priority is the safety and health of our clients and staff. We are closely following the recommendations by the CDC and World Health Organization to prevent community spread of COVID-19. We are adjusting our work environment and programs while making sure our kids and adults continue to receive the services they need.

We are seeing a higher demand for food assistance and basic essentials, but our resources are finite. Many of the families we serve don’t know where their next meal is coming from. During these uncertain times, our food pantry is more necessary than ever. Like many other nonprofits, we have cancelled or postponed fundraisers, and we are seeing a downturn in donations. We are forever grateful for our partners, whose help is indispensable in helping us do everything we can to assist our clients. The most vulnerable people in your community rely on our services.

Your donation may be the lifeline for a struggling family.
If you are able, please consider donating.

We are continuing to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely as our programs continue to serve the community. We are implementing telecommunications options for our outpatient centers, and limiting visitors to our residential homes. The health of the kids and adults we serve, and that of our staff, is of utmost importance to us.

We thank the community, our supporters, behavioral health professionals, our clients and their families for their understanding and patience.
