Carina is a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) and has been working in the field of social work since 2016. Carina’s professional experience includes working with individuals with Eating Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, and Depression. She has worked in various settings in the mental health field, including Wilderness Therapy, crisis response for severe mental illness, after-school programs for children and adolescents with behavioral struggles, and athletic personal training for individuals with physical disabilities.
Carina utilizes various approaches with her clients to help them reach their unique and individual goals. Some of these approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), trauma-informed modalities, motivational interviewing, recreational therapy, and play therapy.
Carina heavily utilizes positive psychology in her therapeutic approach by assisting clients in identifying their unique individual strengths and learning how to utilize them to reach their fullest potential.
