Amanda earned her Masters of Science degree in Psychology through Grand Canyon University. She also holds certifications in Trauma and Professional Addictions Counselor. Amanda is currently working on a Sex Offender Treatment Certification to help the population she serves. Amanda moved to Arizona in 2000 from Pickford Michigan and believes that her cultural background, member of Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians, helps her to work with various populations in Arizona.
Amanda has experience working in various clinical settings since 2013, outpatient and residential settings. Amanda grew up on a farm where her compassion for their animals transitioned over to people. Amanda credits her work ethic to her father who ran their family farm independently along with having employment in their community. She has enjoyed working with children, adolescents, and adults who may have experiences with depression, anxiety, substance use, trauma, as well as other general mental health needs.
