New Horizon Community Care (NHCC) is a non-profit agency that specializes in residential and outpatient behavioral health services, serving at-risk children, teens and adults all around the valley.
Established in 2001, NHCC has developed a programming structure that challenges, encourages and empowers clients to enhance self-esteem and to modify their behaviors in order to become productive community members. Clients participate in activities, groups and life lessons that help them assess their internal strengths, capabilities and improve decision-making skills.
Our agency proudly and productively works with everyone involved with each client’s program. Our experienced staff guides each client in building a strong foundation that will benefit them as they develop the skills to reach their fullest potential in an ever-changing and expanding world.

New Horizon Community Care is a place of purpose, commitment, and integrity. Our mission is to serve, influence, and empower others to reach their full potential.
Our story
New Horizon Community Care, previously known as New Horizon Youth Homes, opened its first group home in 2001. The home quickly filled up, having only had 2 clients in the beginning, and new homes were opened. In its first year of operation, NHCC received the Outstanding Provider Award in recognition of exceptional service to Arizona’s most troubled juveniles from Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections. Over the years NHCC has kept up their high standards, always looking for ways to better serve our clients. We currently have 6 homes in operation.
In 2008, NHCC opened its first outpatient center, which quickly grew into multiple programs and branched out to more centers. The CHOICE program began in 2012 and is currently our largest outpatient program. Our four outpatient centers now serve over 300 clients all around the valley.
New Horizon has been a premium behavioral health provider in Arizona for over 15 years. Our exceptional service and dedication to our community is what has allowed us to succeed.
We are actively finding ways to expand our programming to better serve our community. Most recently New Horizon became the founder of Providence High School, a new tuition-free charter school in Chandler. Providence High combines instructional rigor and relationship focused interventions to achieve an environment where students feel safe and welcomed as they continue to grow and achieve their goals.
