A Message About COVID-19

Dear New Horizon Community,

We have been following the COVID-19 situation closely and, in addition to our existing health and safety practices, have implemented extra precautionary measures in all of our programs. The health and well-being of our clients, staff, and wider community continues to be a top priority.

In light of these recent events, we have decided to postpone our charity golf tournament out of concern for the health and safety of our attendees and staff. We are working with our venue to set a new date in September or October. We will announce the new date as soon as possible. Sponsors and attendees have been contacted with information about their options.

At this time there have been no confirmed cases connected to New Horizon Community Care, but we are taking a proactive approach to protect our clients as they are among the most vulnerable. We are committed to our clients’ and their families’ well-being, ensuring they continue to receive services safely. We are continuously monitoring and following expert recommendations, including guidance from the CDC, World Health Organization, and local public health officials.

As a nonprofit, we rely on our annual fundraisers to help us further our mission. We want to acknowledge our donors and supporters whose help has been integral for those we serve. During this time of uncertainty, your support is needed more than ever.

NHCC will continue to monitor this evolving situation and we will be sharing updates as new information arises. Thank you for your continuous support and understanding through this trying time.
